It may take a few hours. If more than half day, SWB will supply water by water tanker to the affected areas.

(f) Do you install water storage tank? If you are staying at the 2nd floor of your premises without any storage tank, you will have problem with the water supply during peak hours.

According to our SWB regulation, from 1st floor onward, you have to install a storage tank to avoid water shortage.

The maintenance of pipe before the meter is responsible by SWB and after the meter, on your own account.

For normal pipe bursts, it varies from four (4) to six (6) hours. The interruption time may vary according to type of pipe, type of leak/burst, size of pipe and ground conditions such as flood and swampy area.
