- Organize 5S Working Committee on 04 Sept 2006
- Appoint 5S facilitators on 04 Sept 2006
2. CEO's Official Announcement
- CEO officially announces implement of 5S on 02 Oct 06
- CEO explains objectives of 5S program to all colleagues on 02 Oct 06
- Organize basic 5S training programs for all colleagues on 11-13 Oct 06 & 17-20 Oct 06
- Publicize 5S Organization and assignments by area (scheduled on 31 Oct 06)
- Promote 5S with banners posters, and newsletters (scheduled on 31 Oct 06)
- CEO's visit to 5S model companies on 7-8 Nov 06
3. Big Cleaning by All Colleagues
- Organize a full-day of "Big Cleaning Day”
- Organize small groups who are responsible for assignment in divided areas of the company's premises
- Provide enough cleaning tools and materials
- Implement company-wide big cleaning days
- Big cleaning includes the elimination of unnecessary items and wastes

4. Initial Seiri
- Establish a Disposal Standard for unnecessary items on 31 Oct 06
- Organize Seiri activity on 13, 17 Nov 06 & 6 April 07
- Everyone concentrates to identify and stratify unnecessary items for elimination on 13, 17 Nov 06 & 6 April 07
- Unnecessary items that cost a lot should be evaluated so as to prevent the occurrence of such waste (scheduled on 13, 17 Nov 06 & 6 April 07)
5. Daily Seiri Seiton and Seiso
- Seiri: Throw away things that are not needed and not being used
- Seiton: Improve locations and methods for storing things so that searching time is minimized
- Seiso: Set up 5S daily cleaning schedule for the creation of a healthy and comfortable workplace
- Motivate colleagues to come up with creative improvements

6. Periodic Audits on 5S
- Establish a 5S evaluation and Incentive plan on 28 Oct 06
- Conduct 5S Audit regularly by auditors(on 27.04.07 and 25-26.05.07 by NPC and Internal Audit on 19 & 28.06.07))
- Organize a 5S Inter-departmental Competition for upgrading (on 27.04.07 & 25-26.05.07)
- Award groups and individuals for their contributions (on 27.04.07, best zon HRA & 25-26.05.07, best zon CWP)
- Organize study tours to other companies doing 5S after certification.
- Organize 5S Inter-company competition to sustain the program
(not done due to no other company/office in Sibu had been certify with 5S Certification)
